YouTube Music and Westfield London Join Forces To Present The Legacy Series: Fashion x Music

Teaming up to celebrate the best of Black British music and fashion are Youtube Music and Westfield London. This will be the first event in a year long series that aims to celebrate Black culture and raise awareness around Black issues through music and art. The livestream will be taking place on GUAP TV, a YouTube channel for youth broadcasters.

Hosted by presenter and DJ Henrie Kwushue, the stream will showcase six British Black designers and music artists throughout the evening, featuring live performances, runway shows and behind the scenes interviews. Fashion powerhouses Walé Adeyemi MBE, Tokyo James, Bad Society Club, Benjart, Sons Of The First Tribe and Käse. will be sharing their latest collections supported by artists such as Ms Banks, Pa Salieu, Tiana Major9, NSG and Unknown T.

YouTube Artist Relation Manager, Shenice Charway believes that YouTube plays a big part within connecting the industries, "YouTube has an important role to play in not only helping people connect, but in propelling our creative economy forward. Fashion and music are the lifeblood of the UK and we are thrilled to be championing the best in Black British talent and providing a vital platform for creatives to collaborate with one another. The Legacy Series goes beyond just creating moments - it's a continued celebration of Black excellence."
