South London Afro-pop Artist Adenike Shares Her Musings On Love In ‘Adenike Deluxe’

Adenike, meaning ‘the crown is cherished’ in her native Yoruba dialect, has been busy forging her own lane in the UK R&B scene. Since the release of her debut single Ride back in 2019, her sound and musical identity grows more and more refined with every new release.

Her latest offering is a 5-track EP titled Adenike Deluxe where she lays infectious melodies over afrobeat percussions and neo-soul piano chords. The combination of these elements is what gives the project an overall intimate and sensual experience as she dispels her thoughts around love, trust and the choices we make in relationships. With tracks like No Fool and Sweet Love weaving in pidgin english and Yoruba phrases, Adenike is providing a fresh take on UK Afro-pop that is rooted in authenticity and culture.

Hailed by the likes of Aduiomack, Apple Music, KISS FM, MTV Bass and more, this is set to be an exciting year for the artist but in the meantime, get lost in Adenike’s world with Adenike Deluxe below:
