Moose Knuckles SS26: The Brand With The Coldest Heritage Is Warming Up During Ski Season

The Canadian brand has always had its name in the cooler area of fashion; For SS26 Moose Knuckles disregards the forecast and increases the cool factor during a warmer season of lighter layers.

The newest campaign, 'Drop In Drop Out' takes Moose Knuckles even closer to modern wearability. The constraints of outerwear utiliitarian gear are loosened with more streetwear-style silhouettes. Their signature bomber jackets are lined with nylon hoods and cropped fits that emphasise the look's luxury taste in constructed garments. The iconic side label has been reimagined into a reversible logo in rugged cotton and denim, a nice touch that shows off the multipurpose wear of the collection even further.

These lighter layers take the looks quite literally 'outside' of it's known world and into a realm of possibility for where the garments can be worn. For the Cultural Nomad, the Moose Knuckles SS26 collection allows its wearer to jump city to city, climate to climate, with one product that can transition and fit their needs. What would a great luxury brand be if it could not adapt it's craftmanship and technology to be there when times get (actively) rough, (icy) cold and yet still require a style moment away from the slopes? This doesn't mean the brand isn't sticking to its roots, it's simply shifting to an uncompromised design of it's iconic silhouettes by proving it is not confined to seasonal forecasts. Instead Moose Knuckles newest campaign translates its heritage into a lighter space while maintaining bold design in its natural space.

Soft pastels land next to hits of neon orange, velvety textures clash with crisp technical nylon. It's a mix that feels unexpected but very on-brand. Moose Knuckles keeps its sharp, functional edge, just reworked in breathable fabrics that make sense for warmer days. An attitude that isn’t toned down throughout the pieces, it’s just translated. From high-shine puffers to sharply tailored bombers, Moose Knuckles has always maintained a strong visual identity. SS26 'Drop in Drop Out' carries that same confidence forward, now refined for warmer conditions.

I just read the  article and I’m genuinely impressed with how this brand is evolving. What struck me most was how they’ve taken their heritage of making rugged, cold‑weather outerwear and turned it into something that feels fresh and stylish for the ski season. It’s not just about staying warm anymore — it’s about looking and feeling confident on the slopes. The pieces featured in the SS26 collection are bold, well‑crafted, and seem to strike the perfect balance between performance and fashion. I also love that they’re not afraid to experiment with color and design while still honoring their roots. This article reminded me that great brands know how to reinvent themselves without losing what made them great in th…
