Emirates Expands The Luxury Travel Wardrobe With EK FIT And EK TRAVEL

Luxury travel is increasingly defined by the experience beyond the destination, with comfort, versatility and personal style becoming integral to how people move between cities. The Emirates Official Store is responding to this shift with the launch of its latest EK FIT and EK TRAVEL lifestyle collections, arriving ahead of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge and the winter getaway season. Designed to move between exercise, everyday life and travel, the collections extend the Emirates identity beyond the aircraft cabin and into the modern traveller’s wardrobe.

EK FIT approaches performance wear through lightweight, breathable fabrics and moisture wicking technology, balancing functionality with a considered autumnal palette of navy, burgundy and olive. The womenswear offering includes mid rise leggings, fitted half zip tops with hidden back pockets and thumb holes, alongside sports vests. For men, the range features long sleeve tees, high neck half zip tops and seven inch fitness shorts with supportive inner linings and adjustable waistbands. A complementary selection of accessories, including a compartmentalised gym bag with dedicated shoe storage, a quick drying cap and an insulated stainless steel bottle with an integrated MagSafe ring, reinforces the collection’s practical focus.

Where EK FIT addresses movement and performance, EK TRAVEL focuses on the quieter moments that define a journey. Constructed from soft cotton and modal blends, the collection introduces coordinated loungewear designed for long haul flights, hotel stays and unhurried days away. Womenswear pairs an oversized, slightly cropped half zip top with matching wide leg trousers, while the menswear offering combines a crew neck sweatshirt with straight leg trousers, finished with pleat details that give the relaxed silhouettes a more tailored appearance. Unisex oversized T shirts complete the range, with the collections available in shades including navy, olive, burgundy and almond.

Together, the two collections speak to an evolving definition of luxury travel, where the distinction between performance clothing, leisurewear and everyday fashion continues to narrow. The contemporary traveller increasingly expects clothing to adapt to different environments without compromising comfort or appearance. A single wardrobe might need to accommodate a morning workout, a flight across continents, a hotel lounge and an evening exploring a new city. By designing around these transitions, Emirates is positioning its lifestyle offering as an extension of the travel experience itself.

This shift is significant for an airline brand operating in a market where premium service extends well beyond the seat, the menu or the airport lounge. Travel retail and branded lifestyle products create additional opportunities for airlines to build relationships with customers between journeys, giving their identities a physical presence in everyday life. For Emirates, EK FIT and EK TRAVEL connect its established association with international travel to the growing demand for versatile clothing and wellness conscious routines. The timing alongside the Dubai Fitness Challenge also links the collections to a wider conversation about movement, health and maintaining personal routines while travelling.

The launch ultimately reflects a broader opportunity for luxury brands to rethink what they offer the modern traveller. Luxury is no longer communicated solely through exclusivity or formal dressing; it can also be expressed through thoughtful materials, considered design and the ease with which a product fits into daily life. With EK FIT addressing active lifestyles and EK TRAVEL offering a more relaxed approach to dressing, Emirates is building a wardrobe around the full rhythm of travel, recognising that the journey has become as important to the luxury experience as the destination.
