ALO is expanding its European presence with the opening of its first German flagship in Berlin, marking a significant step in the growth of the California born fashion and lifestyle brand. Known for its premium studio to street clothing and focus on mind body wellness, ALO is introducing its vision of contemporary activewear to a new market, extending its offering beyond clothing into a wider lifestyle built around movement, mindfulness and community.

Located at Muenzstrasse 21–23, the 6,000 square foot space, described by the brand as a Sanctuary, brings ALO’s signature retail experience to the heart of the German capital. The store houses its collections of womenswear and menswear, alongside footwear and accessories, including the ALO Bag Collection. Its arrival gives Berlin shoppers direct access to a brand that has built its identity around the crossover between performance clothing, everyday dressing and wellness culture.

To celebrate the opening, ALO hosted an exclusive VIP evening last night, welcoming guests including DJ and producer Peggy Gou and model Toni Garrn. The event introduced the new flagship to Berlin’s fashion and cultural community, positioning the launch as more than a retail opening. With the city’s international creative scene providing a natural audience for the brand, the occasion marked ALO’s arrival through the people and communities that shape its wider cultural appeal.

The celebrations continue throughout October with a programme of community experiences designed to bring the brand’s philosophy into the city. Among the planned activations is an immersive, candlelit yoga experience at Tempodrom, offering participants an alternative setting for movement and mindfulness. By taking its wellness offering into established Berlin venues, ALO is creating opportunities for people to experience the lifestyle associated with the brand beyond the confines of its new store.

On 17 October, the programme will also include ALO After Hours, an alcohol free wellness party at Silencio, open to the public. The event brings together socialising and wellbeing in a format that moves away from the conventional nightlife experience, reflecting the growing overlap between wellness, music and contemporary social culture. It also gives Berlin residents the opportunity to engage with ALO without needing to be existing customers.

The opening signals a broader ambition for ALO as it continues to develop its European presence, using retail, movement and community programming to introduce its identity in new cities. Berlin provides a platform for the brand to connect with an audience whose interests span fashion, fitness and creative culture, while the October programme reinforces its intention to build relationships beyond the transaction. With its first German flagship now open, ALO is establishing a physical presence in the capital while bringing its wider approach to wellness into the rhythm of the city.
