Casablanca Resort 2026 Frames A Rain-Softened Portrait of Los Angeles Ease With Iris Law

Casablanca’s Resort 2026 collection unfolds as a quiet love letter to Los Angeles, something more intimate and emotionally charged. For founder and creative director Charaf Tajer, LA has long existed as a place of personal and creative gravity, a relationship cemented further by the brand’s recent opening of its first US store on Santa Monica Boulevard. This season, Casablanca channels that closeness into a campaign that feels lived-in and cinematic, shot at the legendary Sheats–Goldstein Residence, the John Lautner-designed home known for its dramatic architecture and seamless dialogue with nature. Unexpected rainfall on the day of the shoot softened the atmosphere, washing the images in a subdued, reflective mood that stands in sharp contrast to the city’s usual sun-soaked mythology.

The campaign leans into shadow, texture, and restraint, photographed by Corentin Leroux. Atmospheric lighting transforms the modernist setting into something dreamlike and almost suspended in time, allowing the collection to exist in moments rather than poses. Iris Law, joined by Sara Grace Wallerstedt, Duncan Yair, and Camp Schill, leads the narrative with an effortless presence that feels distinctly Casablanca yet unmistakably LA. Law moves through the space casually reclining on a sofa, drifting through the kitchen, pausing against panoramic views of the Beverly Hills valley. These everyday rituals ground the campaign, positioning the clothes as part of a daily rhythm shaped by ease, nonchalance, and quiet confidence.

That same balance carries into the collection itself. Resort 26 introduces a softer, more down-to-earth expression of Casablanca’s signature glamour, pairing a feminine pastel palette with deeper, anchoring tones like oxblood and royal navy. Sport-inflected tailoring appears through monogram trims and preppy silhouettes, while silk shirts become canvases for ombré gradients and surreal motifs that nod to the brand’s dreamlike DNA. Knitwear evolves through textured waffle knits and mohair blends, and denim arrives in unexpected hues of pink, psychedelic green and a reverse-colour black monogram, reinforcing Casablanca’s playful approach to luxury. Footwear grounds the collection with familiar touchstones, as the Del Mar and Stade sneakers return to complete a wardrobe designed for movement, mood, and modern escapism.

Casablanca slows down the energy of Los Angeles. Through softened light, and a collection built around comfort and expression, the brand captures a more introspective side of the city, reflecting both where Casablanca is now and where it’s quietly heading next.
