JD and Nike Drop the Air Max Neon with a Cultural Roll Call

If you know, you know. And if your phone’s been buzzing lately, you definitely know. In time for Air Max Month, JD Sports and Nike have reignited a certified classic. Landing in-store on Thursday 5th March 2026, the Air Max OG Neon plans for a cultural reset. Some silhouettes don’t chase relevance, they define it. And this is one of them.

Talents Louis Theroux, Kasst 8, Angry Ginge and the Bov Boys’ Jakey and Heinz front the campaign, a line-up that reads less like a cast list and more like a hall of fame. Different worlds. Same energy. True cultural OGs who’ve carved their own lanes and are still pushing things forward. It’s a clever mirror of the Air Max legacy itself.

The rollout is built on Internet chaos in the best way. It began quietly: a clip of Air Max boxes being packed in a JD stockroom. No caption. No explanation. Just boxes and speculation. Timelines went into detective mode. Then came Kasst 8, posted up at co-branded InPost lockers, casually texting “SHIPPED OUT” and “Check your InPost” to fellow culture-setters. Minimal words. Maximum impact.

Angry Ginge, Jakey and Heinz were spotted lining up trick shots on the pool table and stacking 100s at the dartboard, business as usual, until there’s a knock at the door. Enter Kasst 8 with the first hand-delivered pair. It felt cinematic but effortless, like the trainer equivalent of a mic drop.

For the final scene. One last text, this time to Louis Theroux. Cut to a podcast studio mid-setup. A phone buzzes. “Check your InPost.” Theroux retrieves an OG Air Max box from a locker, opens it, and delivers that unmistakable nod of approval. No overreaction. No theatrics. Just recognition. An OG Neon for an OG of the game.

JD and Nike have an affinity for storytelling, powered by personalities who genuinely shape culture, and anchored by a shoe that has done the same for decades. The Air Max OG Neon is about lineage and staying Forever Forward without forgetting where you started.
