Insight into Samsøe Samsøe PS26 Collection

Samsøe Samsøe’s PS26 collection eases into sight with a calming presence. Inspired by nature and shaped by the concept of memories, the Pre-Spring offering captures a mood that feels both introspective and outward facing. almost the embodiment of a particular moment (like leaving the distraction of a big city and bringing more humble, hometown landscapes back into focus.)

The silhouettes carry a simplicity that, in the best possible way; doesn’t seem to require overinterpretation. For womenswear, the jackets rise at the neck while cardigans are cut in stripes. These are pieces that shift ever so slightly from what we’re used to - nothing too abstract, just new themes on old shapes. Eveningwear slips in at the right moments: sleek satin dresses and tailored suits designed to hold space without being overly-dominant.

Menswear sticks to its grounding more through texture and layering. There are statements in the patterns; updated paisleys and bold stripes. But the foundations remain pretty true to what we’re used to. Functional outerwear like the Sayuza vest and Saatlas jacket feel less like statements and more like tools: made to wear, purposely purposeful. Coordination is intentional, with a controlled palette that lets the styling speak for itself.

In a few words, PS26 simply refines the habits Samsøe has already established: Clean lines, Nordic discipline, a wearable collection. Most interestingly, rather than aiming to foster discussion and revelation, PS26 offers something far more important - continuity. It’s clear that pieces are built to echo the rest of an already successful season, and the shifts that come with it - environmental or otherwise.

There’s a sense of movement throughout, not in the clothes themselves but in what they represent: return, reflection, reorientation. Whether it’s the countryside you visit once a year or the streets you used to know by heart, the reference points are personal. Samsøe isn’t chasing a theme, it’s tracing a path.

this collection feels grounded yet reflective, balancing simplicity with subtle innovation. I love how PS26 emphasizes continuity and wearability while still carrying a sense of movement and memory.
