Harlem Heavyweight 27Delly Holds His Own On Latest Single ‘Gimme That’

27Delly is a one-of-a-kind artist who emerged from NYC's underground music scene with sounds and mixes from trap, r&b, and Neptunes-era hip-hop. At 24 years old, the Harlem-based hard-hitter’s wordplay and soothing voice has earned him a devoted following, and in 2022, 27Delly garnered widespread support for his latest EP, ’No Forgetting This (N.F.T.)’, a body of work that shone a light on a shining light. However, not only is he a cunning curator of sonic sounds, the creative connoisseur has also built products for Telfar, Nike, Billionaire Boys Club, Cashapp, Ksubi, Converse, Vfiles, Glass Xyz, Red Bull, and many more companies.

Now returning with his sensational new single, ’Gimme That’, the first offering from his upcoming EP, ‘Wake Up’, Delly shows a more vulnerable side on the track as he explores a new sound that blends elements from West Indian and Uptown R&B. The melodic single serves as a smooth change of pace to what his fans are typically used to, but a welcomed surprise as the artist flaunts his musical nous, further proving he is destined for greatness. Delly grew up in Harlem, New York, which has had a significant impact on African American music, fashion, and art, and is also the last child of Harlem's late-great legend, "D-Ferg."
