G-SHOCK Announce New Partnership With VIBBAR Music & UltraBeam: #NEVERGIVEUP

G-SHOCK and CODE+CULTURE return once again with their third Session event which will be hosted live in the Carnaby flagship store this Friday 5th November! Named by the hashtag #NEVERGIVEUP: G-SHOCK Sessions celebrates the journeys of artists and creatives who have defied the odds to become outstanding in their field. For this session they will introduce groups of uniquely outstanding artists and creatives that are drawing on the power of being a collective to incubate talent, and help them on their pathway to success. At this exciting event we are expected to see an exclusive Q&A and Live Performances from the influential VIBBAR collective, as well as DJ sets curated by music/creative collectives UltraBeam and Platform LDN.

Vibbar was born in 2016 and named after the Swedish word for ‘Vibes’. Today, the expansive group consists of rappers, singers, producers, fashionistas, artists, and everything in between, with each individual member bringing their own creativity to the table. Having worked with some of the most notable names across the scene, such as JME, Big Narstie, Ms and Banks, VIBBAR have sold out headline shows across the capital, with surprise guest appearances from music heavyweights including Boy Better Know.

Here's a run down of the event and what we can expect to see this Friday:

DJ SETS CURATED BY: PLATFORM LDN X ULTRABEAM Music and party-vibes will be provided by a female-led DJ line-up, showcasing the talents of emerging and dynamic young collectives, PlatformLDN and UltraBeam.

ABOUT VIBBAR Vibbar was Formed by cultural influencer Poet and was named after the Swedish word for ‘Vibes’. The expansive group consists of rappers, singers, producers, fashionistas, artists, and everything in between, with each individual member bringing their own creativity to the table. As cultural influencers, Vibbar have since gone on to work with some of the most notable names across the scene, such as JME, Louis Rei (WSTRN), Big Narstie & Ms Banks. They have sold out headline shows across the capital, with surprise guest appearances from music heavyweights including Boy Better Know. Active Vibbar members also work across the likes of 'Filthy Fellas', 'The Half Cast Podcast' and have collaborated on projects with the likes of Nike, Puma and True Religion. Their latest EP, ‘You Should Be Here’ follows 2019’s ‘Black Mirror inspired first project, ‘San Junipero’.

ABOUT PLATFORM LDN Platform LDN is a growing collective of diverse multi-talented young musicians and creatives, all with a passion to support likeminded young creators. From exhibitions, events to high profile brand campaigns, they have curated and partnered with the likes of Julie Adenuga, Maya Jama, Wireless, Sony, Reprezent Radio, Red Bull and more. With regular radio shows on Soho Radio and Voices radio, Platform LDN is breaking down the barriers to the creative industry for those talented individuals wanting to get involved.
