Designer Nikolai Artemev Debuts His New Label

Profet appears as the latest brand birthed from years of study at Antwerp's Royal Academy of Arts. A first collection was presented last season as a collage of empowering, and vivacious urban attire. Emblazoned with a look but don't stare visage, feeling is undoubtedly the secret and is the underlying ethos behind Artemov's brainchild. Aiming to visualize the desired self...Profet acts as the prophecy displayed in rapturous shades of black and blue...and is one that helps us to reimagine an urban wardrobe, a wardrobe sprinkled with pixie dust. With a particularly attentive gaze cast towards the art of getting dressed Artemov, a student of meditation, aims to provide a full mind-body experience for his customer, and describes the signature moment to moment act of dressing as a form of therapy that he wishes to impart in a recent Zoom interview. A therapeutic approach to dress results in a brand that tributes a timelessly ritualistic creativity and speaks to a modern urbanite. Expertly fusing K-Pop with 90s, the Profet aesthetic soaks up all of the inherent qualities of a post punk playlist and reshuffles them with a more studied use of color.
