COMO The Treasury Marks A Decade of Distinction with a Global Celebration of Taste and Culture

In celebration of ten years at the heart of the city, COMO The Treasury is set to unveil a month-long series of immersive events that pay tribute to the best in gastronomy, artistry, and cultural experience. With its roots deep in Western Australian history and its reach stretching to the global stage, the hotel invites guests into a calendar of unique happenings that reflect its refined, worldly spirit.

Housed within the historic State Buildings, COMO The Treasury has become a symbol of quiet elegance and modern luxury since opening its doors a decade ago. Originally envisioned as a revival of the precinct’s grand heritage architecture, the hotel has since evolved into a meeting place for the city’s creative pulse. Carefully restored interiors, elevated cuisine, and a commitment to wellness through COMO Shambhala have helped shape a space where heritage and modernity coexist in harmony.

To mark this milestone, COMO The Treasury is joining forces with sister properties COMO Orchard and COMO Dempsey in Singapore, two pioneering destinations celebrated for their flair in design, food and experiential innovation. The result is a compelling programme that fuses Perth’s local character with international talent and taste.

Among the headline events is a series of exquisite Afternoon Tea experiences led by the acclaimed team of pâtissier Cédric Grolet, visiting from COMO Orchard. Set in the serene Cape Arid Rooms, this week-long event beginning 8 October promises a fresh elevation of Perth’s afternoon ritual.

On 21 October, the lively spirit of the Italian Riviera comes to the city when the creative team from Torno Subito — the celebrated eatery at COMO Dempsey founded by legendary chef Massimo Bottura, takes over POST, COMO The Treasury’s own osteria. This special collaboration will merge Italian indulgence with a distinctly Western Australian sensibility, offering a rare and joyful dining moment.

Rounding off the month, two celebrated chefs will come together for an unmissable culinary encounter. On 28 and 29 October, guests can book an exclusive four-hands lunch or dinner with Michelin-starred Chef Malcolm Lee of Pangium and Wildflower’s own Chef Paul Wilson. Bringing the essence of Straits cuisine into conversation with the bold, native flavours of the Australian landscape, this event is a poetic meeting of culinary traditions and creative philosophies.

As COMO The Treasury reflects on its past and embraces the future, this tenth anniversary celebration reminds us that true luxury lies in the stories, tastes and ideas shared across borders and generations.
