The announced 2025/26 recipients of the BA and MA scholarships aren’t just the talk of the town - they’re the names on every fashion insider’s lips as they embody the industry’s latest creative visionaries. The initiative is set to give recipients a boost in their endeavours - not only providing vital funding for their education, but nurturing the next wave of fashion talent. Awarded to dedicated students holding offers from, or already studying at, BFC Colleges Council member universities across the UK, the programme works to break down longstanding barriers within the fashion community.

Laura Weir, Chief Executive of British Fashion Council shared her praise, expressing an important message. “Congratulations to this year’s BFC Foundation BA and MA scholars. Your ideas, energy, and determination will define the next chapter of British fashion. These scholarships are about more than funding. They are about access, and opportunity. They ensure that creativity is not confined to geography or privilege, but open to talent wherever it lives - from cities to regions, from established fashion schools to new voices rising outside the traditional centres.”

Among this year’s 21 worthy individuals are MA students Sabrina Nieddu (Kingston School of Art) and She Carmona (Central Saint Martins), alongside returning scholars Oliver Clarke, Yodea Marquel Williams, and Geraint Brian Lewis. At the BA level, scholars such as Madeleine Miller (University of Westminster) and Malachi Marriner (Central Saint Martins) join a growing network of supported young creatives.

UAL Central Saint Martins celebrates outstanding success among its students this year. Elizabeth Uno-Ekwang, recipient of the CHANEL MA Scholarship - now in its sixth year - gains access to funding as well as bespoke mentoring opportunities from the CHANEL team and Amanda Harlech. DIOR MEN extends guidance to George Zverkog, with Stella Osei receiving the Joe Casely-Hayford MA Scholarship.

Chief Critic of Vogue Runway and BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent, Sarah Mower, said, “Supporting fashion education through scholarships is core to the work of the British Fashion Council.”

Beyond financial support, awardees gain access to a Scholars’ Programme, including key  advice, industry-led workshops, and creative development opportunities, aiming to bridge the gap between education and professional practice. In doing so, we steer closer to a more inclusive, sustainable, and globally competitive industry.

The full list of recipients can be found on the British Fashion Council’s website.
