D Smoke Shares Introspective Visuals For "Honey Jack"

D Smoke has returned with the highly anticipated visuals for stand out track Honey Jack featured off of his Inglewood High EP released back in October.

The winner of Netflix's show 'Rhythm + Flow' has recently dropped the long awaited visuals to Honey Jack, D Smoke is known for doing things with complete meaning and over the last year has only proved that further. Introspective and poetic, flowing in between Spanish and English D Smoke continues to push the boundaries of his art with his clear-cut flows and choice of wordplay. Having recently featured on The Game's Born 2 Rap album, this is only the beginning for Inglewood's rising star.

Honey Jack stands as an introspective offering. Opening the doors into the mind of D Smoke, this track explores the mind of a young artist who finds himself losing touch in his day-to-day work. Playing on Honey Jack Daniels, he finds himself using a glass of brown liquor in order to cope with his realities. Co-written alongside long time collaborator TDE, the track is produced by Mizz Beats. The child-directed visuals see D Smoke being transported back to the 1900's, a time where social media and today's sociocultural woes weren't as prominent. However, the video analyses police brutality reminding the viewer that time's haven't changed "They kill all black heroes and then just give us one Avenger".
