Tiffany Calver & Friends [Review]

Notable UK DJ and Presenter, Tiffany Calver hosted her popular 'Tiffany Calver & Friends' event which took place at one of London's party hotspots, E1. The DJ/Presenter is known for associating with many high-profile artists, and being friends with many of them, so attending the event with an open-mind is advised, since the special guests can be anyone as seen at the last party (Jan 2020) where fans were surprised by American rapper Young M.A, UK artist Pa Salieu & more.

From the moment you step foot into the club, the scenery was everything, from the people, the outfits, and most importantly, the music. The songs that the DJ's played that night were without a doubt targeted towards the early gen z crowd, and even if you were a late 2000s baby who found yourself in that crowd, there were familiar songs that you could vibe to, most likely songs that were played in our childhood. From old school: house music, reggaetón, bashment, Hip Hop, R&B, and the best of all UK Grime! People dancing together, whether you knew each other or not, was such an amazing moment to capture. It was an authentic moment; simply enjoying the vibe and sinking into nostalgia, remembering how nostalgic music makes us feel, and the uniting hold it has on people.

Once Tiffany came out on stage and graced everyone with her DJ skills, the room was filled with even more excitement, screams, and dancing. She put on an exceptional show, and that was only the beginning. But we all know it cannot be a

'Tiffany Calver & Friends' party if the host herself didn't pop the iconic question..."Can I bring a friend out?!" The first friend to take the stage was K-Trap. He opened up with night with one of his biggest songs 'Big Mood', followed by 'Warm', surely a perfect song for an opener because it hypes up the crowd, easily setting the tone for the rest of night, preparing us for who and what more was to come. The next performer was Abracadabra, who came on stage full of energy rapping his well-known and blazing songs, 'Robbery' and 'On Deck', songs that have been well appreciated within the UK's Drill scene.

Lastly, the performance of the night had to be none other than the (UK's) King of Drill of himself, Headie One. This surprise guest was somewhat of a shock, even though the chances of him coming out was also very likely, as Tiffany and Headie's bubbly friendship has been displayed via social media countless times. The North London rapper had a longer set in comparison to the previous acts, performing his highly-acclaimed songs such as 'Princess Cuts', 'Both', '2 Chains' and his 'Only You' freestyle which features Drake, showcasing his versatility and growth as an artist. Seeing as 2021 has been a successful year for Headie musically, it meant a lot to see him perform a good variety of his music ahead of his UK tour starting November 13 of this year.

(DJ) Jordss ended the night with trending Tik Tok songs, Hip-Hop, Rap and so much more, including the current wave taking the music industry and party scene by storm, Amapiano.

Overall, it was a night to remember! Tiffany Calver did not let her fans down, certainly an event that could not be missed!...Until next time.
