Tariq Disu's Reveals His Long-awaited EP 'GW'

South-London rapper and producer Tariq Disu has unveiled his EP GW (Generational Wealth) which came after his two popular singles 'LONDON' and 'BOUNCE' released within the last couple of months. With Tariq slowly gaining a cult following with his steady flow of releases, he posted captivating visuals for track 'LONDON' as well as having his fans enjoy his intricate blends of hip-hop, R&B and electronic beats that he produces himself.

With Tariq Disu's early inspiration coming from the late MF DOOM, he took to rapping and production with credits on tracks by Ella Mai, Lava La Rue and House of Pharaohs, leading to being part of a close-knit network of likeminded individuals. With a variety of sounds featured on GW, Tariq describes his sound a having a large dose of rap, infused with R&B as well as a sprinkling of electronic.

Featuring fellow South-Londoner and House of Pharaoh's member Sam Wise on track 'REGULAR', the two effortlessly display a musical chemistry between them with Tariq's laid-back vocals and Sam Wise's compelling pen. With this EP featuring a fuse of both Tariq's smooth rap style as well as instrumental-type beats with vocal samples that clearly display his talent and aptitude for producing, such as on 'MANTRA [AK47]', it breaks the EP up into introspective moments alongside woozy reverbed vocals.
