Rising Afrobeats lyricist and West London Resident Flash Provoke Unveils His Latest Single Synergy

Rising West London lyricist Flash Provoke releases his latest record Synergy, a vibrant and uplifting record that exhibits the musician’s exceptional lyrical delivery.

‘Synergy’ is an exquisite piano-led track with unique melodies, dreamy saxophone instrumentals, and a guitar-led outro, all while breaking down the battles between love and lust. Despite being raised in London, Flash Provoke consistently shows love for his Nigerian heritage, this is something that is evident throughout his music and artwork.

With influences from some of the world's biggest artists including Fela Kuti, Duncan Mighty, Juls, and Burna Boy, ‘Synergy’ is Flash's fourth release of the year and follows on amapiano-infused single ‘Livin’ Wild’. Flash Provoke was baptised earlier this year and heavily relies on his religion for inspiration, along with his family, friends, and culture being at the forefront of his mind.

Speaking on the track, Flash Provoke had these words to share: "Synergy is about me finding my match in a girl—the epitome of perfection in a party setting. A woman who stands out in the crowd, enchanting those around her, she's black, a natural beauty, and our energies match. It's a strong and powerful connection that has me questioning whether this is love or lust. Was our meeting meant to happen, or was it fate? I'm the type of guy who's always going to follow his gut, drink or no drink, especially if it's a beautiful girl that I admire both inside and out."

Although Flash Provoke initially broke into the scene with an alt-rap sound, he is transitioning into the Afrobeats musician he was born to be as he experiments with a variety of sounds from the African diaspora.

Offering a fresh and unique new sound to the UK, Flash Provoke has been on a consistent run this year, it’ll be interesting to see what the next few months have to offer for the promising new talent.
