Ravyn Lenae Releases Remix Of Senseous 'Xtasy' Featuring Doechii

Noun - Xtasy - an overwhelming feeling of great happiness or joyful excitement.

Chicago-born singer/ songwriter Ravyn Lenae has recently released a remix to ‘Xtasy’ that was originally produced by long-term friend Kaytranda who worked on a number of tracks in her debut album.

In 'Xtasy' the beat emits a funky electrotonic wave that pulses with the synths creating an addictive sonic experience that taps into the senses providing a house vibe that captures a moment of euphoria.

The lyrics and tone help convey a whispered promise that leaves Ravyn breathless as the R&B singer's airy vocals are tinged with neo-soul as she sings about that feeling you get when you're high off of love likening it to xtasy. She urges her love interest to embrace the feeling of being present she croons, “Put ‘em in the sky and feel that rush.”

Hailing from Florida Doechii features on the track to provide another dimension to it. She raps and sings fluidly confident in her inner sexuality.

The original version song comes off of Ravyn’s sixteen-track debut album Hypnos which was released on the 20th of May. The project features the likes of Smino, Mereba, Foushee and Steve Lacy.

The singer will also join Omar Apollo on a North American tour starting near the end of October and finishing in November
