Rising R’n’B sonsgtress Kristie Killick unveils her first single of the year, as she returns to the sphere shining a light on men’s mental health with track ‘Men Need Love Too’.

With just a few years into the scene, Kristie Killick is making a real name for himself within the world of R’n’B, gaining notable success from her previous singles ‘Green Street’ and ‘Sunflowers' which has racked up an impressive amount of streams.

Kristie's latest offering ‘Men Need Love Too’ gives a completely new perspective on men’s mental health, a subject that is close to the singer’s heart. Produced by Moegli and mixed by October (Jaz Karis, Sam Wise), ‘Men Need Love Too’ is a refreshing take on a taboo subject all while highlighting strength and vulnerability, alongside the exhibition of Kristie’s melodic vocals.

Kristie explains, “Men Need Love Too reflects my conflicting, internal dialogue throughout my relationship with a partner who mentally shut down during a difficult period of his life. The verses reflect how I felt going through this with him, the pre-chorus is me coming to the realisation that he’s struggling to communicate, trying to encourage him to speak his truth and the chorus is my heart aching as I am humbled and reminded “Men need love too”. I was there, craving love from a partner who was going through his motions. It’s an element of a relationship we often overlook - how does the man feel? Is the man OK? Where is his head at?”

Since debuting in 2020 Kristie Killick has shown nothing but consistency when it comes to her music, with each track sounding more authentic than the last. The independent singer not only writes her music but she is very hands-on when it comes to producing and mixing her tracks.
