Prince JR Operates On A Higher 'Level' On New Single

South African born artist Prince JR is extremely passionate about the craft of making music, from the age of 14 he has been a student of various lyricists that came before him, working on sharpening his tools to now be as confident in his songwriting as he is now. Prince JR announces his new level on his latest single with a simplistic yet infectious hook.

Level is Prince JR’s latest release from his upcoming EP Before Colour due to release next month. This record was written from the perspective of an artist that has taken the time out to rediscover his craft and artistry. In this record Prince JR celebrates the “Level” he has reached and discovered in his music to make him the unapologetic artist that he is now, with a simple chorus while using a very catchy cadence, Prince puts the listener on notice of what lyrical

height he is on.

The self-proclaimed ‘melanin lyrical messiah’ embraces a style of flow that switches cadences between bars while still staying in pocket with the beat to keep the listener intrigued sonically. Doing this effortlessly was Prince’s biggest priority, which he has achieved in this record with the promise of more similar fearlessness in his upcoming EP Before Colour and album (not named yet). This record follows Tribe which was released earlier this year which addresses more of Prince’s background and why he is the artist he is. LEVEL sheds light on the day-to- day thoughts and feelings that Prince the person has and what he strives to achieve, operating on a higher level mentally & creatively without forgetting that this is rap and he has a point to prove.
