Oxlade Unveils New Single "Arabambi" Ahead of Debut Album

Nigerian singer and songwriter Oxlade has revealed the inspiration and meaning behind his latest single, "Arabambi," a track set to feature on his highly anticipated debut album, Oxlade From Africa. "Arabambi" signifies "the child of the people," symbolizing a child born from the community, "the one." The title also serves as a tribute to K1 De Ultimate, an iconic Nigerian Fuji musician, whose nickname is Arabambi.

Oxlade explains that the melody of "Arabambi" draws inspiration from American singer Miguel, particularly his vocal techniques. While the song is a love anthem, it also showcases Oxlade's signature braggadocious style, blending heartfelt lyrics with confident delivery. Interestingly, "Arabambi" was originally intended to be performed for COLORSxSTUDIOS before Oxlade opted to perform "Ku Lo Sa" instead.

The release of "Arabambi" is accompanied by a music video that radiates heat both visually and energetically. The video encapsulates the track's vibrant celebration of rhythm, enhancing the song's essence with dynamic visuals.
