Nigerian Artist Tems Releases Promising EP ‘For Broken Ears’

After earning two degrees in marketing, Tems decided to follow her long-awaited calling to pursue a career in music. Her debut single 'Mr Rebel' was her breakout moment leading to her being recognised as one of Nigeria's rising talents.

With only a few singles behind her, this body of work is set to pin her as a talent to look out for in the future. ‘For Broken Ears’ runs through the spectrum of human emotions from falling in love and the heartbreak that often follows. Tems obtains a type of raspiness to her voice, that, paired with her afro/rnb melodic phrases, clearly separates her from the pool of vocalists on the scene. With all of her work written and largely produced by her, Tems is a creative force that is forging her own unique path in the industry.
