New Balance Release More Colourways of The 1000 Model

New balance bounces back this summer with a campaign for the iconic 1000 style low in four new colourways.

The shoe was originally released in 1999 shaking up the footwear model of comfort and style for the next generation. It’s one of the many shoes that comes to mind when we think of its dadcore collection of styles. New Balance smartly coined its older model ‘990v5’ campaign with ‘Worn by Supermodels in London and Dad’s in Ohio’.

JD have released the campaign in their own reimagined way with Arsenal player, Bukayo Saka in centre focus. Alongside the New Balance footballer (since 2021), he is joined by London-born actor well known for Top Boy and his magazine fashion stories including a bold spread in GQ, Araloyin Oshunremi. Also accompanying the stars on the campaign is American rapper Redveil where talent meets sports for the new 1000 models.

Focusing on global talent who are thriving and doing it in a positive way, New Balance & JD have formed a sense of togetherness in imagery taken with a scenic view of London. The campaign dilutes the branded idea of wearing the product in its most obvious form but instead demands the attention of wearers who are drawn to sports, music and film cultures.

The shoe features ABZORB cushioning, Stability Web midfoot shank and inverted mesh/suede upper, keeping the 1000 products for more than lifestyle snd sports activities.
