Nando’s Mix It Up Vol. 3 EP: A Global Celebration of Amapiano Drops On New Music Friday

Just in time for summer, Nando’s is set to release its highly anticipated Mix It Up Vol. 3 EP tomorrow, featuring a stellar lineup of international artists including A$AP NAST, Teni, and Unknown T, as well as South African producers Duppy, Nkulee, and Toby Franco. This marks Nando’s third foray into the music scene, continuing its tradition of blending diverse cultural sounds.



The EP was recorded and produced between Nando’s sponsored Flame Studios on Constitution Hill in Johannesburg and Nando’s Soho recording studio in London. This cross-continental collaboration embodies Nando’s brand belief that "Life’s Better When You Mix It Up," merging international cultures and music styles to create a unique embrace of the constantly evolving Amapiano genre. This genre champions collaboration and experimentation, which is evident in the eclectic mix of artists featured on the EP.


Mix It Up Vol. 3 brings together the infectious rhythms of Amapiano with the raw US rap of A$AP NAST, the mesmerizing lyricism of Nigerian artist Teni, and the distinctive UK Drill tones of Unknown T. The result is a collection of tracks that are guaranteed to make listeners want to move, capturing the dynamic energy and global appeal of Amapiano.


Now in its third year, Nando’s Mix It Up project was established in partnership with the non-profit, South Africa-based organization Bridges For Music. The initiative aims to celebrate Nando’s South African heritage and platform emerging music talent. Mix It Up shines a light on the incredible sounds emerging from South Africa and the global music scene, while supporting Nando’s broader mission to change lives through its connections and influence within the music industry in both the UK and South Africa.
