muva of Earth Reveals The Thought-provoking 'High'

Spiritual songstress muva of Earth unveiled her latest track 'High' which is inspired by manifestation, intuition, nature, life and her experience living as an Afrikan woman. Drawing on influences similar to the likes of Lauryn Hill, muva of Earth blends Afro-spirituality with harmonic and dreamy vocals over a hip-hop beat.

Encasing the new single in love and excitement, muva of Earth mentioned that the track is all about being high on life. Although we think about drugs because of its title, muva of Earth wanted her listeners to push new heights and expand on our ways of thinking. "I remember writing ‘High’ in my bedroom whilst hanging out with my sister Angel. I had the hook in my mind for a while and would continue singing and writing more lyrics on my bus journey’s, drawing from London and my own personal experience for inspiration."

With the Brownswood signee experimenting with multiple versions of 'High', she initially wanted to explore the highs and lows of life with the original demo more theatrical. However, muva of Earth wanted to create a summer-soaked tune that would leave us feeling uplifted.
