Mahalia Announces Her Exciting Second Album, "IRL"

British musician Mahalia has now unveiled the name of her much anticipated second album, "IRL," which will be released globally on July 14th via Atlantic Records. This follows the release of her magnificent and bold new single "Terms and Conditions" last month.

Mahalia has also planned a massive UK and European Tour for the end of 2023 in addition to the album announcement. The 'In Real Life Tour' kicks off on October 8 in Leeds and goes through to November 7 in Berlin. On October 19, the famous Eventim Apollo in London will be visited as part of the UK leg. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on May 16 and the official sale will start on May 19.

The Leicester-born star has accomplished a lot over the past several years. Beginning the year 2020 with her second BRIT nomination, Mahalia also received a GRAMMY nomination for the song "All I Need," on which she collaborates with US rapper Ty Dolla $ign. Soon after, Mahalia ended the year with three MOBO nominations for her debut album, "Love and Compromise," including "Best R&B/Soul Act," "Album of The Year," and she took home the first two awards. Mahalia added to her long list of accomplishments by opening for Adele at her 2022 BST performances in Hyde Park last summer and performing with Alicia Keys at the o2 Arena in London. She ended the year on a high note by earning her third MOBO Award for Best R&B/Soul.

Mahalia is committed to live life intentionally after being inspired by her inflections, perspectives, and young adulthood. On her second album, she is also breaking stereotypes. “I’m so proud of this album, and so proud of how much I challenged myself to just let those stories out” she explains. There is clearly no slowing her down.
