Lagoon Wavey Unveils Brand New Single 'Occupied'

Following from his 2021 project The Shore, the Bajan singer and songwriter released his new track 'Occupied', full of lush vocals and lethargic guitar riffs. The single comes after his one-off Drum and Bass-inspired collaborative track 'Universe' with Redeyes.

Produced by long-term collaborator Leejo, 'Occupied' follows a soft R&B vibe alongside weaving gentle Reggaeton and a sprinkling of mild electronic. Taking inspiration from musicians such as Rihanna and The Weeknd, Lagoon Wavey or Sir Wavey as he's more widely known back home, strives to ensure his music breaks barriers as he writes about love, relationships and his heritage to make it more personal. With co-signs from radio host and DJ Jamz Supernova, Lagoon Wavey is ready to show us a whole new side of his musical ability.
