Kickers x A-COLD-WALL Reconstruct the Kick Hi* From the Ground Up

The new Kick Hi is not a seasonal refresh or nostalgic callback, this collaboration presents a silhouette reshaped through architectural thinking and cultural memory. For the first time in its 50-year history, the Kick Hi steps into entirely new territory, engineered through the combined design codes of two brands deeply rooted in London’s street culture and everyday life. There are boots you wear, and then there are boots that wear the city with you. On 4th March 2026, Kickers and A-COLD-WALL* introduce a collaborative Kick Hi as a structural intervention.

The collaboration is a study in shared principles. Kickers has always stood firm in British heritage and music-rooted subculture, a boot embedded in classrooms, clubs and concrete pavements alike. A-COLD-WALL*, by contrast, approaches design like an architect surveying the social landscape of modern Britain. Its language is construction. Its references are industrial frameworks, domestic ritual and the unpolished poetry of working-class life.

The classic Kick Hi shape remains intact, but ACW* applies its signature deconstructed methodology to disrupt expectation. Distressed leather exteriors give the boot a sense of history, as if it has already walked miles through the city. Suede panelling slices through the upper, subtly concealing the lacing system and wrapping the back heel in quiet tension. It feels intentional with surfaces layered with purpose.

Inside, the design language softens without losing edge. Exposed foam nods to process and construction, revealing what is usually hidden. Yet this rawness is offset by a luxurious sheepskin lining, introducing comfort as a counterpoint to industrial austerity. It’s a balance both brands understand well: function meeting feeling, grit meeting refinement.

No pair of Kickers is complete without the fleurette, and here it becomes a symbol of unity. In signature Kickers red and ACW* blue, the bespoke fleurette threads through the design narrative, echoed across the trademark tabs and outsole plug.

Available in two colourways, Bone and Onyx, the limited edition drop offers versatility without dilution. The neutrals provide a canvas for styling, while the house colours remain sharp, deliberate accents. It’s a collaboration that doesn’t shout for attention; it’s built with it, proving that true design evolution exposes its framework and builds forward from there.
