Iyamah Unveils An Empowering & Spiritual Visual For “Won’t Work.”


British Soulstress Iyamah recently revealed an empowering cut for her latest single ‘Won’t Work.’ Taking a very hands on approach for the visual, which was styled, directed and post-produced by Iyamah herself. We see the artist’s true vision for the record unfold on our screens; set in India, Iyamah bursts with creativity in each clip as she lets loose while performing the track donning chic Badu-esque outfits.


In each frame we find her manoeuvring her way through Indian markets and lush landscapes on a scooter. Presenting a visual that successfully captures her strength and spirituality, leaving you feeling instantly empowered.



Speaking on the track: “It’s about boundaries, knowing your worth and stepping into control,” Discussing the video, she adds: “Shooting the video for ‘Won't Work’ was an experience! I was alone with nothing to hand but my vision, a camera person and some gorgeous Indian markets. I styled, directed and starred in the video, I even got involved with post production as It was so important to me to make sure that this video was a true reflection of the song and myself.”
