Future Releases Highly Anticipated Album "I Never Liked You" & Visuals For "Keep It Burnin"

Recently named “The best rapper alive” by GQ, Future honoured us with one of this year's most anticipated albums: “I Never Liked You”, making it his first body of work since the last platinum-selling album “High Off Life” in 2020.

The Grammy-Award winning hip hop icon also shared the music video for “Keep it Burnin” featuring another one of Hip Hop’s icons, Kanye West. The visuals see Future stepping out of his comfort zone, but with an artist like himself, being one of this generation's most influential rappers, he can do no wrong. The cinematic video compliments the artists, captured by blockbuster visuals spotlighting both rappers, somewhat illustrating the bond between the two, the video is bound to keep the internet burning. Kanye West sought Future out as Executive producer on long-awaiting-Donda 2, as well appearing on a few songs.

“I Never Liked You” sets Future for another successful album run as powerhouse tracks with the likes of “Wait For U” (Feat. Drake & Tems), and “Love U Better” showcase the emotional side of Future, aside from most of his fans love to see, shying away from his glorified “toxic” persona, who most of us are familiar with. Whilst Songs like “712PM”, “I’m On One” (Feat Drake), “For A Nut” (Feat. Young Thug & Gunna) and “Back To Basics” take us back to the Atlanta rapper's homegrown trap style, with raw and raucous lyricism, beats and flows.

The Atlanta rapper has also featured on hit songs, consistently giving us nothing but hits, from Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” (Feat. Young Thug), Nardo Wick's “ Me or Sum” (Feat. Lil Baby), and Gunna “Pushin P” with Young Thug…Gradually preparing us for the “reignited” and “unstoppable” album, as penned by Elliott Wilson for GQ Magazine.

Overall, “I Never Liked You” is a trap sophisticated album which allows Future to flaunt his ego, sound, ambition & just how unstoppable he is, also displayed through his career longevity & heavyweight music catalogue. Future’s inevitable return to the main stage is happening this summer (2022), as he’s set to be headlining Rolling Loud Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on July 23.
