Fast-Rising Rapstar Chika Reveals Uplifting New Track “My Power.”

23-year-old Alabama-native, Chika has established a track record of actively using her platform and voice to advocate inclusivity and challenge societal norms regarding race, gender, mental health and body image.

Her rapping and innate ability to freestyle has resulted in praise from a number of publications like The New York Times and Billboard. Including coveted spots on covers for Teen Vogue, NYLON, Business of Fashion, and in recent times she was announced as part of XXL Magazine’s 2020 Freshman Class!

Known for glazing methodic beats and setting forth socially-conscious rhymes across her catalogue, Chika is ready to add another hit to her repertoire in the form of “My Power” via Warner Records; just in time of her debut in new Netflix Film Project Power, featuring Jamie Foxx - out now.

“My Power,” finds the rap star melding together lines that promote self-worth, lived-in subject matter and uplifting wordplay with an unique rhyming style; throughout the track she lays down plenty of personal gems while remaining light and encouraging - an innate skill of her’s.
