East London's B-Joux Returns With Visuals For 'Banter'

Hailing from Newham, East London, he's opened for stars such as Stormzy, Ghetts and 67, as well as Obongjayar and Section Boyz. An intriguing character in the UK Rap/R&B scene, B-Joux is a musical anthropologist: a rapper/singer/producer not bound to stick to a particular sound or style to deliver his message. He has now unveiled the visuals for his track "Banter" which was released last year on the "Foundation" EP (Deluxe).

He explained that the track "allowed me to express myself in a different way. Speak on things without filter because of the drill genre while at the same time being authentic to myself".

Steadily building a name for himself, with his self-directed music videos showcasing his ideas, culture and cinematic shots; B-Joux is keen to build on the momentum afforded to him by his prolific releases last year.

His latest visuals for "Banter" show him and his peers in a more rural setting, what seems like country lanes where they've parked up their cars and are just hanging out, having a good time, but the presence of blue and red lights can flicker a deeper meaning to the track.

Brought to you by the production team from Safe Route, the track is produced by long-time collaborator AB96IX. If you want to catch B-Joux live he is performing at New Wave Magazine's next event Based on the 5th March.
