Chloé Unveils the High-Octane Collection for Spring 2025

For Spring 2025, Chloé continues its exploration of blending the past with the present, capturing the essence and spirit of the house. This collection, dubbed the High-Octane Collection, reflects a journey that seeks to prepare the Chloé woman for diverse situations and moments, harking back to the influential figures who have shaped the brand, including Gaby Aghion and Karl Lagerfeld.

The creative inspiration for this season traces back to Karl Lagerfeld's 1970s apartment on Place Saint-Sulpice. This Art Deco-inflected masterpiece, with its signature black, gold, and cream color palette, was a hub of creativity, hosting numerous editorial shoots by iconic photographers like Helmut Newton, Deborah Tuberville, Guy Bourdin, and David Bailey. This apartment, alongside Lagerfeld's previous residence in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey filmed "L’Amour" in September 1970, served as the epicenter of creative energy. This season's collection draws on the opulence of Art Deco and the vibrant New York late 1960s scene epitomized by Warhol and his entourage, characterized by freedom, decadence, and eccentricity.

The collection is a tribute to women such as Donna Jordan, Jane Forth, Viva, Patti D’Arbanville, and Edie Sedgwick, as captured in the book "All Tomorrow’s Parties." It evolves along two parallel lines: one featuring rich, airy, billowing dresses and blouses in black and gold or white and gold fil coupé, exploring Art Deco motifs and color combinations; and the other expanding the Chloé wardrobe with pieces that exude the charm of personal vintage finds.

Core elements of the collection include tailored jackets with scalloped edges, leather coats and Bermudas, denim pants, and ribbed knit tops. The color palette extends beyond the signature shades of beige, cream, and black to incorporate new, highly saturated tones of magenta, fuchsia, and purple, enhancing the eclectic spirit of the collection. Intensely decorated and fringed 70s-inspired jewelry completes the looks, adding a touch of bohemian flair.

Footwear features prominently with the introduction of folded boots, a fresh take on Chloé's signature "Cuissardes," and new Chloé sneakers inspired by the silhouette of boxing shoes and the softness of ballet shoes.

This season, Chloé's High-Octane Collection encapsulates the house's ability to gather a community of women at its heart, blending historical inspiration with contemporary design to create a wardrobe that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
