The Devil Wears Prada Soundtrack Is Clearing The Runway With Star Studded Lineup

Fashion’s most infamous fictional empire returns with more than just sharp tailoring and impossible deadlines. The Devil Wears Prada 2 arrives with a soundtrack that is as curated as a Runway editorial itself, pairing pop heavyweights with emerging names to create a sonic extension of the film’s glossy universe. Released through Interscope Records, the 13-track project merges exclusives, chart favourites, and original contributions into a soundtrack built to mirror the pace, confidence, and drama of fashion’s most recognisable office.

The soundtrack lands alongside the long-awaited return of The Devil Wears Prada franchise, nearly two decades after the original film became a defining cultural reference point. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tuccireprise their iconic roles, returning audiences to the sleek offices of Runway magazine and the relentless world orbiting Miranda Priestly. With anticipation surrounding the sequel reaching exceptional levels, the soundtrack feels less like a supporting release and more like a parallel event—one that captures the energy of a franchise whose cultural influence has never really left the runway.

Leading the project is Lady Gaga, who contributes three original songs, including the already headline-making “RUNWAY” with Doechii. Named after the fictional publication central to the franchise, the track leans fully into high-energy club production, designed with the same theatrical intensity that defines both artists. Since appearing in the film’s trailer, the single has quickly gained momentum, becoming a chart success while cementing itself as one of the soundtrack’s defining moments. A recently released visual, directed by Parris Goebel, further extends the track’s performance-led spectacle.

The soundtrack broadens its reach through an eclectic mix of artists spanning pop, soul, and alternative sounds. SIENNA SPIRO delivers “Material Lover,” an original song written specifically for the film, while names including Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean, SZA, RAYE, and Laufey bring further dimension to the project. The sequencing moves fluidly between polished dance-pop, softer soul-inflected moments, and more introspective cuts, giving the soundtrack a range that extends beyond pure nostalgia.
