Che Lingo Unveils His Highly Awaited Debut Album 'The Worst Generation'

South-West London's very own Che Lingo has finally delivered his highly awaited debut album titled, 'The Worst Generation'. Clocking in at just under 40 minutes long, this 12-track album has a boast-worthy slew of features from Samm Henshaw, Ghetts, Kojey Radical and Rachel Chinouriri. Known for his over-riding substance, versatility and all-round quality artistry, Che Lingo has handed over exactly that.

Accompanying the release of the album, is a fresh set of visuals 'South', layered over a cinematic backdrop, he flows effortlessly over the beat championing his ends. Speaking on the single, Che Lingo commented; “South is an intro into the relationship I had with South London growing up. My family (albeit separated) did everything they could to ‘protect’ me from what someone like me might face as a young black boy in South London, as well as prepare me for what they couldn’t protect me from.”

“I still got into a good few situations I felt powerless in and ressented myself for not doing more or standing up for myself at the time. There’s so much to fight for internally on a mental level and externally in the world right now, the less R.I.P’s and letters we have to write the better.” he explained. Exploring his limitless sound over a variety of vibrations including Grime, Trap to even an assortment of Jazz-driven backdrops, Che Lingo manages to blur any lines of confined genre-boundaries and form an authentic and captivating listen from start to finish. Filled with pre-released tracks including the "My Block", "South", "Dark Days" alongside Kojey Radical and "Black Ones" featuring the famed Ghetts, Che Lingo has pulled out all the stops!
