Bloody Civilian Drops Lead Single ‘SpaceFuji’ Off Her Upcoming EP The Haze

Three years after her last project, Bloody Civilian returns with lead single ‘SpaceFuji’ off her upcoming EP The Haze. The Grammy-award winning musician fuses Fuji, House and Afrofusion on ‘SpaceFuji’, creating a dancefloor filler.

Featuring Apala Fusion pioneer Terry Apala and Alté pioneer Boj, ‘SpaceFuji’ commences with a voiceover intro that says “welcome to the sounds of outer space”. Bloody Civilian holds the first verse and hook while Terry Apala and Boj split the second verse respectively.

Produced by the multifaceted Bloody Civilian and co-produced by Ditweni, the song further cements that Bloody Civilian is as talented a singer as she is a producer.

With The Haze set for release on August 14, the preview single ‘SpaceFuji’ sees the songster embarking on a new chapter of her boundless exploration of African sounds.

From earning an international recognition for her appearance on the soundtrack of the 2022 sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to her first No. 1 song on the Nigerian charts as a feature alongside Wale on ODUMODUBLVCK’s 2023 ‘BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR’ and her contribution on the score for Bob Marley: One Love biopic the following year, Bloody Civilian continues to create music that is forward thinking.
