BLK ODYSSY Releases New Intoxicating Single 'ODEE'

BLK ODYSSY takes us into a passionate world created from the stuttering minor piano chords, rhythmic trap drum 808s and layered soulful vocal samples on his new single 'ODEE'.

Transitioning seamlessly from carefully sung silky smooth R&B notes to words delicately delivered in a relaxed spoken-word medium. BLK ODYSSY conveys a viscerally seductive image that he wants to draw the attention of a woman on his new single 'ODEE'.

The elements combined on the dark and seductive record is steeped in an intoxicating intensity as the Austin-based artist BLK serenades her before styling over the track carrying an air of confidence.

Despite enjoying a rich lifestyle he cannot helop but croon "get a bag, get a bag, she ain’t looking at a money tag”, implying that his love interest isn't interested in superficial things.

Creatively shot and directed by Juwan Elcock and Griffin de Stefano, the accompanying visuals tells the dramatic non-linear narrative of an armed robbery executed by a group of women who strip the men of everything that they own. Fitting the track itself, it opens with the graceful motions of a ballerina who performs on the stage.

‘ODEE’ is a follow-up to BLK’s debut project BLK VINTAGE, which was a close look at the experience of African Americans. The project was released in 2021 and currently has been streamed over 45 million times.
