Afropop Newcomer Idahams Delivers His Latest Single 'God Bless Africa'

Idahams is the latest Afropop musician from Nigeria to make a global name for himself, despite being in the industry for a number of years, 2023 seems to be a standout year for the singer-songwriter.

Following on from the success of his single ‘Wetin No Good’ which was released earlier this year alongside a remix with fellow Nigerian musicians Dan Dizzy, and Eltee Skhillz, racking up an impressive six million global streams. The latest offering from Idahams is ‘God Bless Africa’ a smooth mid-tempo record that combines the musician's melodic vocals with smooth percussion, written and produced by Kulboy (Stefflon Don, Tekno, Kelvyn Boy) ‘God Bless Africa’ continues to pave the way for the upcoming musician who has already achieved global success with two acclaimed projects in the last two years, over 70 million streams, and four top 10 singles on Music Week’s UK Black Music Chart.

As Idahams put it, “This song was inspired by the popular Instagram personality Tunde Ednut, who regularly posts videos and photos of beautiful African women from around the world, often using the caption 'God Bless Africa' to celebrate their beauty”.
