adidas Originals x Drama Call Take Mancunian Spirit to London in Second Chapter

Two powerhouse names in British streetwear have come together once again to craft a release that bridges cities, cultures, and generations. adidas Originals and Drama Call’s second chapter unfolds with a renewed energy, debuting a reimagined Superstar II “Drama” silhouette alongside a capsule of apparel steeped in terrace nostalgia. This next step rewrites the map, taking the spirit born in Manchester and carrying it straight into the capital.

The collaboration follows the resounding success of the duo’s first drop, which drew inspiration from Manchester’s iconic Metrolink and the city’s unique identity. This time, the narrative expands into London, shifting from North to South while retaining the Mancunian heartbeat that defines Drama Call’s vision. The campaign continues its transport-inspired storytelling, positioning the release as a journey rather than just a product. To bring the concept to life, an eclectic line-up of talent, from rap heavyweights Headie One and Aitch to cultural figures Shaun Ryder and Window Kid, this energy infuse the project with a multi-layered authenticity.

At the centre of the drop is the Superstar II “Drama” in a fresh off-white colourway, a subtle yet striking evolution of the silhouette that made waves in the first release. adidas’ heritage is unmistakable, yet Drama Call’s rebellious imprint pushes the sneaker into new territory. Their signature star emblem sits proudly on the heel tab, tongue, and sole, accentuated by a silver hangtag that glimmers against adidas’ iconic three stripes. This clash and harmony of symbols speaks to the shared ethos of both brands: timeless, but never afraid to disrupt.

Completing the release is a carefully considered apparel capsule that draws directly from the 90s terrace era, when sportswear blurred the lines between pitch, street, and culture. Two Beckenbauer tracksuits anchor the offering, arriving in clean off-white and deep black, each fusing adidas’ stripes with Drama Call’s stars in a way that feels both familiar and futuristic. Together, the collection is more than a continuation, it’s a reminder that when the North meets the South under the weight of three stripes and three stars, the result is nothing short of iconic.
