A2 has long been a pivotal figure of the UK's underground music scene, with hits such as X2 (Dble), I NEED, Fill The Void and Renegade amongst others being released from the South London artist over the last 5 years. He brings a unique, unmistakable sound due to him being his own producer, which has changed somewhat over the years but still somehow stays authentic and undeniably distinctive.

With this new video for 'AKOLADES' directed by Ben X, A2 takes us on a drive through London in his coupe. The cinematography within this video encapsulates perfectly both feelings of futurism and nostalgia - the rotating camera paired with clean transitions between night and giving a feel which matches the track itself perfectly due to the contrasting sonics of the melody & the drums which sit perfectly on top.

A2 is undoubtedly set for another big year of music, which could be his biggest yet - with the highly anticipated album on the way, this may finally give A2 the widespread credit he deserves after being a staple of the scene for half a decade.
