Wesley Joseph Announces Highly-Anticipated Debut Album, 'Forever Ends Someday'

Midlands multi-hyphenate Wesley Joseph today delights fans with news of his much-awaited debut album, 'Forever Ends Someday'. The announcement lands alongside new single 'Peace Of Mind', featuring rap iconoclast Danny Brown.

For three years we barely heard from Wesley Joseph, and now we know why. Building reverence from his peers and a devoted fanbase over the course of two projects, Joseph became renowned for his dynamic, genre-blurring approach. Collaborations with Loyle Carner and Jorja Smith furthered his notoriety, as he seemingly moved from strength-to-strength.

We now understand that his upcoming full-length debut is the culmination of three years of immersive writing, producing and world-building, distilling Joseph’s journey from childhood memories through teenage turbulence into 13 cinematic tracks. Created between London, Walsall, LA and a remote Swiss mountainside studio, it features collaborators including Danny Brown, Nicolas Jaar, A.K. Paul, Al Shux, Romil Hemnani, as well as another track with childhood friend Jorja Smith.

The first offering from the album, 'If Time Could Talk', released back in November, proved Joseph to be sharper than ever. Today we're treated to 'Peace Of Mind' featuring Danny Brown, which arrives with massively engaging, self-directed visuals. This track is immediately impactful, beginning with quickfire flows before the instrumental punches its way through. Danny Brown arrives in the second half, jumping in with his signature stand-out cadence and unorthodox approach.

These early tastes, along with the time and care taken in the creation of this album suggests this to be Joseph's most profound, personal work to date. Releasing 10th April via Secretly Canadian, 'Forever Ends Someday' can now sit comfortably amongst our most anticipated upcoming releases of 2026. How early is it possible to predict an AOTY contender?
