Trap&B Pioneer NorthSideBenji Unveils New Single ‘Harder To Please’ Off His Imminent Album

ree

Canadian Trap&B pioneer, NorthSideBenji, is back with his new single ‘Harder To Please', released in anticipation of his forthcoming album Misery Loves Company, coming live later this month.

Following an introspective path, ‘Harder To Please’ explores the rapper's priority about moneymaking and how it’s becoming hard to satisfy him, hence its title. On the hook, however, NorthSideBenji is no stranger to random, intrusive thoughts as he remarks off-handedly, “Fentanyl addiction got the game in a squeeze”.

Misery Loves Company spotlights only three features. However, with only three features, the album seeks multiculturality.

Navigating across English-speaking borders, NorthSideBenji brings on British musician, Nafe Smallz, from his mother’s home country and American artist, NoCap, from his neighbouring nation. Not exempting his roots, he spotlights Tory Lanez, his fellow Canadian creative.

Intensifying his passion for a multicultural approach, the ‘Levels’ crooner visited four countries on three continents to compose this new project. From Vancouver to Los Angeles, and London to Dubai, the Ontario native recorded Misery Loves Company.

On the album, he delves into emotional evolution and the changes that come with success. What to expect of this body of work: a blend of street poetry with polished Trap&B production.

Adding another country under his rhythmic radar, he shot the visuals of ‘Harder To Please’ in Marbella, Spain. The short film centres on him moving around—alone—in a waterside mansion.

Ten toes deep into giving his listeners a euphoric experience, the emerging musician has an upcoming tour for Misery Loves Company. “Charity begins at home” or, in this case, musicale begins at home. NorthSideBenji hits the road in early October with a Canadian tour. Misery Loves Company is fast approaching, and so is a subsequent homebound tour!
