Three Designers Of Fashion East Reveal Their New Autumn/Winter 22 Collections

Now that the gloomy ambience of the pandemic is easing, the fashion industry is ready to get back into the business of the norm. Representing young innovative talent and with the aid of Nike, Fashion East kicks off this season by demonstrating a live performance, taking place on Sunday 20th February. Under the pioneering Fashion East umbrella – talented designers Jawara Alleyne, Chet Lo and Maximilian Davies will be exhibiting their leading-edge AW22 collections this season.

The show reveals an incredible selection of three young talented designers who is more than ready to take this AW22 season by storm and showcase the trailblazing performance of design concepts. All three designers have the vision to explore how they perceive fashion. Their capabilities and craftsmanship allow them to act on creativity, push boundaries, go above and beyond and share their talents across the globe but more importantly, be a role model for other inspiring future designers.


Once again, renowned publications have sung their praises like British Vogue and Another. To introduce Asian-American Chet Lo, known to celebrate and hold great respect to his Asian culture. Taking steps into the future, the London-based designer brings a touch of elevating revolutionary design concepts and manages to keep his brand aligned with features exploring femininity.


Tapping into his influence on Japanese comics, Chet Lo utilities modern techniques to magnify originality in his design creations by exhibiting confident, heroic, vibrant shapes and retro elements. He is not afraid to step out of his comfort zone and be daring. He has also achieved a wide following of celebs like Doja Cat, Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa and Willow Smith wearing his creations and spotted in renowned publications such as The Face, W Magazine, Dazed and Vogue.


Creative artist/designer Jamaican-Caymanian Jawara Alleyne confronts and explores the contemporary and ancient interpretation of masculinity through inspiration and experience of his Caribbean culture and background. The innovative designer embraces his identity and heritage through his craft. Keeping his energy for creativity afloat, he executes his passion for a new approach to define contemporary masculinity in various shapes. He is a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.


Influence of his Jamaican-Trinidadian roots, Maximilian Davis design concepts embedded with uplifting polished silhouettes engineered in impressive experimented craftmanship. His heritage keeps the brand ethos alive by representing and celebrating designers of colour for the future. This will be his fourth collection under the Fashion East umbrella, the buzzworthy talent explodes every time in the spotlight with incredible execution shown into his work. It has gained the interest of celebrities including Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, Dua Lipa and many more under his belt.


Presenting new gen of upcoming designers like Chet Lo, Jawara Alleyne, and Maxmilian has been a beacon of innovation, authenticity and trailblazing design talent. Flourishing under the support of Fashion East, they have followed in the footsteps of some of the most prominent design talents in the Fashion Industry like JW Anderson, Roksanda, Wales Bonner and many more. The three designers have experienced the pleasure of being a part of a Fashion East scheme celebrating what UK talent has to offer.
