The Hotel Shares New Music Video For 'The Novella'

Hailing from South London, upcoming talent The Hotel has delivered his first project of the year with a conscious song entitled 'The Novella'.

Infused with a mellow and calming beat, the song touches on the artist's life and overcoming certain issues. The Novella stands as an expressive track that adds to the Hotel's versatility within his unique sound.

The hotel described the narrative as "Sometimes we lose sight of who we are. Sometimes it’s really a distraction from yourself to sort out the problems and issues of others giving up our time, energy and focus. This was a tape to centre all of those and to challenge myself to overcome boundaries that I previously faced musically and visually".

Speaking on the inspiration and reason for people in the video for the song The Hotel said:The pandemic was the biggest inspiration behind the song. It’s a very challenging time globally and I was happy to have my friends and family around safely. This is why I had them in the video, people that were very close to me and had stuck by me during difficult times." Additionally, he talked about how it introduces himself, "The song introduces a new direction I have been working with a more contemporary production style."
