Following the news that Alexander McQueen will return to London Fashion Week for the first time in years, the British Fashion Council has unveiled its provisional Spring/Summer 2027 schedule - it promises a season that balances established British powerhouses with plenty of upcoming pioneers. Several labels will make their London Fashion Week debut this season, including menswear designer Geordie Campbell, Joyce Bao, whose work offers a contemporary reimagining of femininity, Indian label Lovebirds, and demi-couture specialist Onalaja.

Alongside Seán McGirr’s highly anticipated London debut for McQueen, the schedule welcomes back a host of familiar names including Barbour, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Harris Reed, Richard Quinn, Roksanda and Simone Rocha. They are joined by a strong contingent of contemporary voices shaping the future of British fashion, from Aaron Esh and Ashley Williams to Chopova Lowena, KNWLS and Paolo Carzana.

“This season marks an exciting moment for London Fashion Week, with the return of leading British brands alongside an exceptional new generation of creative talent.” - Laura Weir, Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council

Emerging talent remains firmly at the heart of the schedule. This season’s BFC NEWGEN recipients, supported by PULL&BEAR, include London Fashion Week debutants Francesca Lake, Gui Rosa and Petra Fagerström, while Charlie Constantinou, E.W. Usie, Liza Keane, Octi, Oscar Ouyang, Pauline Dujancourt, The Ouze and Yaku return to showcase their latest collections. Fashion East will also make its return following the British Fashion Council’s renewed commitment to the influential initiative, while Birmingham City University will spotlight rising creative talent from across the UK.

Beyond the runway, the Spring/Summer 2027 schedule places a renewed emphasis on immersive experiences and cross-disciplinary storytelling. J.L-A.L will unveil its latest collection through an experiential presentation accompanied by celebrations surrounding its collaboration with Puma, while 5000, the current designer-in-residence at the Paul Smith Foundation, will present a multisensory sound bath designed to merge fashion, music and art.

Retail engagement also plays a significant role this season. Marks & Spencer will stage its London Fashion Week debut with a see-now-buy-now runway collection spanning menswear and womenswear as the retailer marks 100 years in fashion. Elsewhere, Dover Street Market will host a jewellery showcase, H&M will collaborate with Nick Knight and SHOWstudio on a reimagined fashion presentation, and eBay will return with its pre-loved Endless Runway concept. Selfridges will further champion British creativity through dedicated in-store activations and a curated edit of London Fashion Week designers.

The schedule reflects a London Fashion Week increasingly focused on nurturing emerging talent, fostering cultural exchange and creating meaningful connections between designers, retailers and consumers, while reaffirming the city’s reputation as a global centre for creativity and innovation.
