Syd Makes A Stark Return With Anti-Love Song 'Missing Out'

After a lengthy four years since The Internet's Syd's last solo project, the smooth r&b vocalist has marked her come back with the harmonious song 'Missing Out'

Released through Columbia Records ahead of Valentines day, the song follows a narrative opposite to the theme of love or as described as an "anti-Valentines day ode", which sees Syd highlight a complicated relationship alongside a melodic production. With cover art provided by designer Verdy, the song's frosty tone of voice through the lyrics perfectly reflects this imagery.

Prior to this release, Syd had featured on a number of other artists' projects including Lil Uzi Vert, Disclosure and Free Nationals; and having been a part of the Queen and Slim film soundtrack, the songstress managed to keep herself busy between her last solo body of work 'Fin' in 2017 and The Internet's fourth album 'Hive Mind' in 2018 up until now.
