Size fest took over Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse, an iconic music venue that is best known for its Warehouse project events across three rooms.

Proving that they are elite tastemakers the team who were in charge of the festival provided sounds that everyone could enjoy. The atmosphere was incredible providing a feeling of a massive old-school basement rave.

DJs were there on deck to bring the vibes, the sound systems would be trapped in their respectable areas so you could drift in and listen to drill or rap in one room but enjoy dancehall and a variety of other sounds.

On the Mixtape Madness stage rising artist JBEE treated his fans to a new single ‘24s’ to a highly receptive crowd as well as other past singles.

M1llionz high energy performance played his fan favourites from his discovery including

‘Lagga’ where he was almost in the crowd because of how close he was.

Mixtape Madness’s very own Tweeko and friends’ set went off as he brought out special guests on his first set such as Kairo Keyz, JS X YD, D1, Young LS and Rose.

Other stand-out performers on the Mixtape Madness stage include Clavish and Cristale. The former showed why he’s considered the most exciting UK rappers as he proves he has the stage presence as well as the bars.

Also enjoying herself on stage, the 20-year-old south Londoner Cristale performed a dance to the dancehall track ‘Bong Bing’ showcasing her variety. Cristale also performed songs from her recently dropped project What It’s Like To Be Young.

Kwengface brought a local fan from Manchester out on stage with him as he rapped alongside the drill artist bar for bar. Other acts that graced the Mixtape Madness stage include, Arz, Welsh rapper Juice Menace, Manchester-born Just Blanco

You could also find strong performances from Nines, Miraa May, AJ Tracey, Backroadgee, Knucks and Tamera to name a few on the main stage.

We cannot wait to see how Size Festival 2022 will grow and develop for next year as they continue to aim to curate an elite sonic experience for ravers.
