The 22-year-old singer has returned with an R&B and Trap infused track Stubborn. After releasing the audio to the track just over a month ago, Ryan De La Cruz has finally dropped the highly anticipated visuals. After being launched into the spotlight in 2017 for hit Know About Me which has amassed over 1M views and was also named "the best rap video of 2017" by DJ Semtex. Following the successful collaboration with no other than Ghetts and S Wavey on track entitled Player as well as his critically acclaimed single Syko earlier this year, Ryan is back in full effect. Drawing from the likes of Michael Jackson, D'Angelo and Chris Brown as well as his tough East London upbringing. Ryan sets himself apart from the rest of the U.K. scene with his soulful and R&B touch infused with his fruitful plethora of inspiration. Touching on real-life and important issues, his forthcoming EP is only going to highlight this further. Playing on the different facets of his personality with singles such as Stubborn, Crazy, Rockstar and Syko this project is an ode to being accepting of who you really are, Ryan stated "We’ve all got a sense of craziness, be cool with that, it’s ok to be syko". Stubborn is a major warm up for what Ryan has hidden under his sleeve. The lo-fi and gritty felt visuals give you an authentic view into the energy and confidence that Ryan carries with him. Giving likeness to his idols such as Chris Brown and D'Angelo, he delivers his performance with ease. Watch the visuals to Stubborn below and stream the single here.
