Rod Wave Delivers Emotive New Album 'Pray 4 Love'

Following the worldwide success of his debut album, Ghetto Gospel, back in 2019, Rod Wave is finally back with another project.

April 3rd saw the release of Wave's sophomore album, Pray 4 Love - a fourteen track collection of harmonic songs, depicting the Florida artist's affliction and inner demons, stretching from the incarceration of his own father, to the traumatic loss of friends.

Rod, at only 20 years old, has been through some serious pain, and he expresses this torment throughout his album - "Who can you trust in this cold, cold world" (Pray 4 Love), "I need some happiness again, this life done beat on me" (Ribbon In The Sky).

Wave does not use auto-tune within his songs, and utilises melodic instrumentals to provide listeners with an authentic and emotionally intense sound, so powerful to have caught the eye of rap legend, Meek Mill, who titles the singer/rapper as his therapist.
