Rhuigi Villaseñor, the founder of RHUDE, delivered something new. The brand, famously known for its laid-back Los Angeles, American iconography style, switched it up this fashion week as the English countryside heavily inspired the collection.

Villaseñor created the label back in 2015 with no prior experience in fashion design. His mother was a tailor, which he credits as his 'in' with fashion. He realises the craftsmanship behind every design. Villaseñor explains that the brand grows with him; they are parallel. The collections are different phases of the brand and Villaseñor. Growing from adolescence to maturity.

The English Countryside inspired the new collection—soft pastel shades of lavender, sage green, and sky blues were seen throughout the design. The garments were tailored and fitted, giving that countryside, hunting gear and preppy style RHUDE wanted to achieve. While pops of vibrant red and golden yellow symbolised the energy and optimism of the American Dream. The collection finds the middle ground between American fashion and the classical English style.

Even though this collection plays on a different style and design, Villaseñor is not reinventing RHUDE’s style but instead giving the brand more range.
